About Our President’s Invitational Event (“PIE”).

In October 2022 the President’s Invitational Event (‘PIE’) was initiated by 2022-2023 President, Mary Lou Luebbe-Gearhart with a visit to the Ohio Railway Museum in Worthington. The Event included a train ride
from the Depot to Lincoln Avenue.

October 10, 2024, Thursday, Bourbon Tasting with PIE sponsor Jody Ort. About Our President’s Invitational Event (“PIE”). October 10, 2024 “Bourbon Tasting with Joyce Lohner“For the 3rd Annual President’s Invitational Event, President Jody Ort has chosen a Bourbon Tasting. It was held Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Leasure-Blackston Post #239 of the American Legion, 700 Morning Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Participants received 1 Old Fashion plus 4 tastings of bourbon and light snacks.

October 2023 Presidential Invitational Event, Pam Clawson, Sponsor
The 2023-2024 President’s Invitational Event was held Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 2:00pm at the Walnut Grove Cemetery (aka Flint Military Cemetery). A tour was conducted by The Worthington Historic Society representative and WWC member Barbara Barnhart, with focus on past members of Worthington Womens Club and their accomplishments. Past Presidents gravesites visited
