Interest Groups provide an opportunity for WWC members to meet around a shared interest and to get to know each other in a small group setting. Many regard the Interest Groups as the lifeblood of the club because these smaller groups offer opportunities for fun and lifelong friendships.

How to Start a New Interest Group
WWC currently has more than 35 Interest Groups, but if you have an interest not available you can start a new group. Follow the steps below to create a new interest group.
- Identify an interest (exercise, genealogy, meditation, etc.)
- Find 10 members with the same interest. If your group would meet with 8 members, two could be standbys.
- Obtain an Attachment Template. Click here!
- Complete the Attachment Template with the name of the group, person to chair, contact information, etc. Group Roster is signatures of 10 members.
- Obtain an Authorization Request. Click here!
- Complete the Authorization Request.
- Submit the Attachment and the Authorization Request to the Past President and Interest Group Representative found in the Yearbook under Elected Officers.
- The Interest Group will be presented to the Board at the next meeting.
